Therapeutic Approach
My approach to therapy begins with recognizing our shared humanity. I’ve always been curious
about human behavior and motivated by a desire to support others through life’s challenges.
Growth can be messy and unpredictable, and I understand the difficulties that come with
navigating life transitions. My own life has been filled with moments of joy, struggle, loss, and
discovery, and the perspectives I’ve gained from these experiences shape my work.
Having lived in several countries and worked in a variety of roles and settings – each offering
new perspectives on life, resilience, and human connection – I’ve gained a broad understanding
of the many ways people live and experience the world. These experiences have shown me that
life is full of unpredictability, and that even small changes can shift our perspective in
meaningful ways.
My therapeutic approach is highly relational and rooted in depth psychology, with a strong
emphasis on the therapy-client relationship. Building trust and connection is at the heart of my
practice. I do not approach therapy as a place for advice-giving or instruction. Instead, I aim to
create a collaborative space where we can explore your experiences, reflect on what matters most
to you, and identify the patterns and insights that strengthen your ability to navigate life’s ups
and downs.
In my work, I focus on helping clients gain insight into the roots of their challenges and use that
awareness to foster lasting change. Grief and loss have played a significant role in my personal
journey, giving me insight into the complex emotions life can bring. Drawing on both personal
experience and professional training, I provide empathy, understanding, and a safe space for
clients to process and heal.
Beyond The Office
Outside of work, I spend time with Luna, my spirited 7-year-old French Bulldog, and I’m
happiest outdoors – especially near the ocean. My personal version of paradise? A day spent
floating in the water alongside a soundtrack of music I love. Music has always been a powerful
and meaningful force in my life – a way to process and connect with emotions. There’s nothing
quite like a song that perfectly captures exactly what you’re feeling. I’m also inspired by the
adventure of travel, the insights that come from experiencing new cultures, and the simple joy of
sharing meaningful moments with good friends.
